Audition dates for 2009/2010 Season

Audition times
4.00 pm - 9.00 pm on all of the above dates. Fee is $20.
Auditions will be held at:
The First Congregational Church, 1128 Pine Street, Boulder, CO 80302
Private auditions are held throughout the season - fee is $25. To schedule a private audition, complete and return the Audition Application Form.

Eligibility
BYS participants are chosen by audition. Auditions are open to all students age 7-22 who play one of the following instruments:

| Cello | Clarinet | Trombone | Harp |
| Bass | Bassoon | Tuba | Saxophone |
Audition requirements
Auditions are ten minutes in length, and include:
- One scale of the student’s choice.
- Two contrasting pieces, sections of a piece, or orchestral excerpts of the player’s choice. These should represent technical facility as well as lyrical abilities.
- Sight reading.
Percussion applicants should call or email for additional requirements.
