"Music for All" Outreach Program
Financial aid (based on need) is available to those who qualify. In 25 years, we have never turned down a student from BYS participation for financial reasons.
This program (new in 2008) is designed to give quality musical experiences to students IN FINANCIAL NEED. For these students, BYS provides any combination of private lessons, instrument purchase, and/or BYS tuition assistance. Any students 17 years or younger are eligible and our biggest qualifier is that the student qualify for free or reduced lunch at school. Students who are in financial need but do not meet this lunch qualification are still eligible but must explain clearly why they are in need of assistance.
